How the excitement began…..

 

Since I was a child I have marveled at the Old Hollywood 50’s Stars. I even bought my wedding dress to imitate the era. They were so pulled together at all times. They looked impeccable. Bust perfectly lifted, Cheerio size waists, and streamlined thighs and I am pretty sure that plastic surgery was not the reason.

 

So what in the world happened between now and then?

 

I had reasoned that the clothes were made better then, which in many cases they were, and maybe the stars just had stuff that we new nothing about. Their little secret….they did. It was called “foundation garments” as our parents and grandparents would so affectionately refer. They didn’t leave the house without them because ladies weren’t didn’t suppose to jiggle or shake.

 

Upon women’s Liberation however this garments fell out of favor and women embraced being free from corsets, girdles and any other garment that was consider binding.

 

Today

 

So as models get smaller, clothes become tighter and more expensive I look forward to helping every woman to look her best under all circumstances and save money all at the same time.
